I got this in an e-mail a while ago, and I forgot about it, but I want to share it today...
A rod in my hands will keep away an angry dog.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.
It depends whose hands it's in.
A slingshot in my hands is a kid's toy.
A slingshot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it's in.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in Jesus' hands will feed thousands.
It depends whose hands it's in.
Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse.
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will
Produce salvation for the entire world.
It depends whose hands it's in.
As you see now, it depends whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because...
It depends whose hands it's in.
God's got BIG hands, as I've talked about before. He surely can carry any concern, worry, frustration, hurt, frustration of yours in His mighty hands.
But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand.- Psalm 10:14
Better yet, rest assured that YOU yourself are in big hands! I could have never made it through all these trials on my own- God's hand has been guiding me, lifting me up, holding mine, sheltering me from all harm and danger, and provided a harbor- a place of rest and security that I so much needed.
A problem in my hand turns into peace when I lay it in the hands of God.
And what's most comforting is that God always has His hands wide open. He invites us to come to His hands and put whatever we would like there- He will gladly take it, and He will always provide rest and peace, promising that He will provide and direct us along the way He knows best.
Positives for Today!
-"Your birthday song made my day"
-"You look better and more confident every time I see you!"
-Reading my favorite story/poem to my Adolescent Literature class...
-A night focused on Literacy instruction- YES!
-Finding something I had been looking for for a long time...
-Donuts to celebrate another birthday
-"We'll get together sometime later this week, and I'll look forward to it!"
Again, I just want to reiterate how blessed I truly am- even in the midst of this lessening storm. God is good.
Don't really have anything to add, just liked it, as always. :)
